Well, we've known for over a week now. Things are finally starting to seem real. I'm getting really excited about everything. So, why "The Lightbulb," you ask? Well... a while back a couple of our friends nicknamed Jeremy Tommy Lightbulb. (Since his real first name is Thomas, and for all we know he gets paid for screwing in lightbulbs all day!) So, for whatever reason, we've begun referring to this little thing taking over my entire body (yes, the baby) as "The Lightbulb." So that's the story. I guess right now it's probably more the size of just a fillament. (Yes, I'm sure Jeremy could tell me the exact specifications and proper name for a lightbulb, eerr lamp, that is about 1" long, the apparent size of our baby right now. )
So... I hope to use this blog as a way to keep everyone updated on how I'm doing, what preparations we're making, etc. I'll post photos and stuff like that, too. I'm pretty certain that you, my lovely readers, will be able to post comments to anything I write. So go ahead! (I just don't promise I'll be nice to you if you're mean to me. And I'll blame it on the hormones. They're crazy you know!)

Well "The LightBulb" is pretty funny. Jeremy was called "BOZO" before he was born--funny thing is that he has red hair.
I'm excited that you will be keeping us up to date of all of the fun things that will be happening in the next nine months.

Well, you already know my excitement (I think we've talked about every day!) I'm the proudest 'grannie' in the world! I already have someone taking my place at work in May - told them I'm leaving and will let them know when I'm coming back later - and they are okay with that. So for now I will just enjoy shopping around! CONGRATULATIONS - Love you 'three'!
You guys already know how excited I am! I have had so much fun telling everyone about the new addtion coming to our family. I don't think I will vote one way or the other. I just pray for a healthy happy baby!
